After the success of our Down With the Swine pork rub over the past three months, we have launched the pre-sale for two new chicken seasonings!

Song Bird Chicken Seasoning is an all-purpose chicken rub with bold flavors of citrus, herbs, and ginger. It was designed as much with the everyday, on-the-go cook in mind as it was for the hardcore barbecuer or weekend warrior.

The bold flavor combination provide great flavor enhancement to oven baked or crock pot chicken breasts, grilled chicken, and smoked chicken alike. In addition to chicken, Song Bird can liven up your Thanksgiving turkey as well as fish and vegetables.

It’s also gluten free, low sodium, and contains no added sugar, so you can feel good about what you are seasoning your meat with.

Mocking Bird Spicy Chicken Seasoning features the same base as Song Bird, but carries a habanero, sriracha, and umami punch that hits all the senses. It was designed to appeal specifically to the heat-seeker and sit near the top end of the spectrum in terms of spicy rubs.

Great on all things chicken, especially chicken wings, Mocking Bird also brings heat and flavor to turkey, fish, and veggetables.

Unlike Song Bird and Down With the Swine, Mocking Bird is not gluten free, but it is low sodium and contains no added sugar.

Both rubs are now available to pre-order and will begin shipping out mid-November in time to use for Thanksgiving. They can be ordered individually or in rub sets such as The Folk Duo (Song Bird & Mocking Bird), The String Band Duo (Down With the Swine & Mocking Bird), The Ballad Duo (Down With the Swine & Song Bird), or The Power Trio (all three).
