Description
I’ve been traveling to the South Carolina Lowcountry since I was a kid and I’ve always had a fondness for Carolina Gold, the mustard-based barbecue sauce that is popular in that region. So I had to develop my own. Creating a flavor that tastes great, but is unique from those already on the shelf doesn’t happen overnight, but I achieved what I was looking for with some outside-the-box thinking. Utilizing my own sweet tea concentrate as a sweetener provided an added layer of flavor to balance the tang of the mustard and vinegar. The result is a tasty spin on the classic Carolina-style mustard sauce and I can’t wait for you to try it.
Comes in a 16oz glass bottle.
Ingredients: Yellow mustard (white distilled vinegar, water, #1 grade mustard seed, salt, turmeric, onion powder, spices, extractives of paprika, natural flavor), sweet tea concentrate (black tea, cane sugar, water), apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce (distilled vinegar, molasses, sugar, water, salt, onions, anchovies, spices, tamarind extract), honey, black pepper, spices.

I enjoy a good mustard sauce but typically that are not that versitile when cooking. This sauce is not that. This sauce goes great with everthing. Flavor profile is on point without being over the top. You can go standard bbq style with this and your smoker but you can also saute some vegetable in it to pair with a nice cut of seafood (I did salmon).
